Qualifications

• To be eligible for the role, you must be a current undergraduate student within the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences.
• Interest in creating professional social media content and following University brand guidelines.
• Ability to work 2–4 hours per week with time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Proactively seek news stories and engagement opportunities from relevant stakeholders.
• Create content for various communication methods, consulting with colleagues before publishing.
• Develop and maintain the department’s social media accounts and internal/external webpages.
• Develop communication templates for emails, webpages and social media posts.
• Engage with the student community and represent the department externally.
• Work independently and as part of a team with good written/verbal communication.
• Manage time and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
