Job summary

KierBAM Joint Venture (KBJV) is seeking a Social Impact Advisor to join its Environment and Sustainability team in Plymouth, Devon. The role focuses on delivering social value across the project, acting as the link between KBJV and local communities, schools, colleges and universities to embed social value in all activities.

You will represent KBJV at events, collaborate on strategic initiatives, and ensure data collection and reporting compliance, including KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering social impact projects, ideally within infrastructure, utilities, environmental or community-focused programmes.
• Strong organisational skills to plan, coordinate and manage multiple activities.
• Ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders including operational teams, clients, supply chain partners and local community organisations.
• Willingness to work in a live MOD facility and meet BPSS security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Represent KBJV at events such as careers fairs, community events, school engagements and industry events.
• Collaborate with the project team to encourage strategic social impact initiatives and identify volunteering opportunities.
• Ensure accurate data collection across the project and recording via Thrive to achieve KPIs.
• Maintain a stakeholder register of local organisations and groups to maximise Social Value.
• Deliver the KBJV Social Value Plan and maintain a Social Value calendar.
