Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multi Trader for Rugby Borough Council to undertake responsive repairs across housing stock, prioritising plumbing work and secondary carpentry in occupied properties. You will aim to complete repairs on the first visit wherever possible.

The role runs 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call standby pay of £200 per week when required. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in social housing, property maintenance or facilities services.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Ability to complete multiple repairs without requiring additional trades.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair leaks.
• Repair and replace taps, toilets, basins, baths and sanitary ware.
• Complete kitchen and bathroom plumbing repairs.
• Undertake waste pipe and drainage-related repairs.
• Carry out fault-finding and remedial plumbing works.
• Deliver responsive repairs in occupied properties.
• Maintain accurate job records using IT systems and handheld devices.
