About The Role
Our Social and Contextual Analytics Directors play a vital role within our Marketing Sciences team at Ogilvy. Leveraging expertise in data science, social and contextual data, data storytelling, and strategic thinking, you will inspire our teams to make bold strategic leaps through high-quality analytics and insights.

What You’ll Do

  1. Drive innovation in our product stack, identifying and implementing new tools, techniques, and data sources to enhance our analytical capabilities. Promote experimentation and learning, embracing calculated risks while meeting timelines.
  2. Translate visionary ideas into tangible plans and presentations, effectively communicating complex concepts to stakeholders and securing buy-in.
  3. Ensure the quality and impact of deliverables from the Social & Contextual Intelligence team. Provide hands-on training and mentorship in listening methodologies, survey data analysis, data storytelling, and integration of diverse data sources.
  4. Collaborate with the team to develop capabilities for delivering insightful analysis that inspires clients to make bold strategic decisions.
  5. Work with client teams to develop, sell, and implement analytics strategies that exceed expectations.
  6. Build strong relationships with clients and foster a positive team environment.
  7. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide data-driven recommendations through compelling storytelling.
  8. Dive into data analysis and storytelling, contributing directly to projects.
  9. Collaborate with other agency teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  10. Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and growth.
  11. Mentor and coach team members for professional development.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends in social and contextual analytics and explore their application.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Ability to drive innovation and implement new analytical approaches.
  2. Experience translating visionary ideas into actionable plans and presentations.
  3. Proven mentorship and training experience, especially in data storytelling and statistical rigor.
  4. Extensive experience in marketing analytics, particularly in social and contextual data analysis.
  5. Strong interpersonal and storytelling skills.
  6. Knowledge of data fusion, advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
  7. Proficiency with tools like Brandwatch, Sprinklr, GWI, and programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
  8. Exceptional communication skills for distilling insights for clients and stakeholders.
  9. Strategic mindset focused on innovation and transformation.
  10. Experience in client engagement and relationship management.
  11. Entrepreneurial curiosity and capability to identify creative opportunities.
