Role Overview

We’re hiring a Social & Community Manager to join our fast-growing startup. You’ll be our internet eyes and ears — crafting witty content, jumping on trends, and genuinely engaging with the home, lifestyle, and savings communities we serve. Think memes, reels, product teases, Facebook Group energy, Pinterest inspo — all in our brand voice.

Responsibilities
  1. Post daily across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
  2. Engage actively with our community — comment, like, DM, and join conversations in relevant groups and forums (including Mumsnet)
  3. Create trend-driven content (reels, memes, polls, tweets) native to each platform
  4. Collaborate with our designers and marketing team to brainstorm campaigns and ideas
  5. Track engagement, identify what’s working, and help shape our tone of voice
Ideal Candidate
  • Lives and breathes internet culture and niche communities
  • Has 2+ years experience as a social or community manager
  • Is confident with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
  • Can capture content using a simple phone setup
  • Has a sharp sense of humor and understands viral content dynamics
  • Is highly organized and adaptable to startup pace
  • Has experience with lifestyle, home, or community-driven brands
  • Knows how to navigate Facebook Groups, Reddit, Mumsnet, etc.
  • Has run influencer or UGC content campaigns before
