Job summary

Choice Care Group in Amesbury is seeking a Social Care Worker to provide compassionate personal care to residents, assist with activities and follow care plans. The role involves shift work including weekends and on rota basis.

Qualifications

• Training and mentoring provided on joining the team.
• Range of flexible working patterns to suit personal commitments.
• Hours: 36 per week; shift work including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including bathing, toileting, dressing and helping with feeding.
• Medication administration.
• Assisting and participating in residents' daily activities, hobbies or outings.
• Following care plans and company policies and procedures.
• Developing open, honest, and considerate relationships with residents.
• Maintaining written daily records.
• Attending and completing training as required.
