Job summary

Care 2 U Ltd is seeking carers who can work in the community in the Walsall area. A driver with own vehicle is required to visit clients at their homes and provide compassionate care. Roles offer flexible hours and both part-time and full-time options with training and pension benefits.

Employees will perform personal care tasks, mobility support and accompany clients on outings, ensuring independence and wellbeing. Shifts include early mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate empathy, compassion and reliability in daily community care.
• Good communication and respectful interaction with adults in the community.
• Extensive training provided including Care Certificate and ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and bathing.
• Assist with mobility, meals and daily routines in adults’ homes.
• Escort on outings and support with community activities.
• Work on a rota including weekends/evenings as required.

What we're looking for:

This role requires you to be a driver with your own vehicle due to working within the community.

We are looking for people whom have a real commitment to providing a high standard of care and support that is not only strength based but person centred that promotes and maximises Independence and well being to adults within the community. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, compassionate, trustworthy, caring, respectful and resilient whilst being reliable and positive.

What you'll be doing:

Every day, you'll be making a difference working with adults for the provision of community-based adult services in the borough of Walsall, providing support to both males and females. Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, bathing, preparing meals, mobility assistance, escorting duties, etc. Providing support service and support with outings for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues.

Candidates must be flexible to work on a rota basis over a 7-day period including weekends and/or evenings. Morning shifts can start between 6 am and end at 3 pm. Evening shifts start at 3 pm and finish between 10 pm and 11 pm. Flexibility is essential to the job role and times above may vary.
