Job summary

Royal Borough of Greenwich in Woolwich, United Kingdom is seeking a Social Care Strategic Lead Business Support Officer to provide executive support to allocated Strategic Leads in Children's Social Care.

You will coordinate governance, prepare reports, manage diaries, track actions from inspections, support budget and information governance, and help drive continuous improvement across Children's Services. DBS check required and for informal discussion contact Caroline Ringwood.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting senior management teams within a complex organisation.
• Experience producing reports and management information for senior leaders.
• Experience analysing information and presenting findings clearly.
• Experience taking accurate minutes and maintaining action logs.
• Understanding of Children’s Services governance, performance and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of GDPR, data protection and information governance requirements.
• Knowledge of financial administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive support to Strategic Leads, managing complex diaries, meetings and business priorities.
• Act as a key point of contact, coordinating communications for senior leaders.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, governance boards, workshops and service forums with papers and actions.
• Prepare, collate and maintain reports, briefings, and management information.
• Monitor actions from inspections, audits, complaints and improvement plans.
• Support budget monitoring, procurement and financial administration per Council procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and efficiency across services.
