The Royal Borough of Greenwich is recruiting a Lead Child Protection Practitioner to join its Multi Agency Child Protection Teams. The post leads Section 47 enquiries and chairs strategy meetings, working with Police, Health and Education to safeguard children.

You will be a qualified social worker with substantial child protection experience and a proven ability to lead multi-agency work, develop protection and safety plans, and shape new services under the Families First reforms.

Formación

• Qualified social worker with significant experience in child protection.
• Experience leading strategy meetings and multi-agency teams.
• Knowledge of Children Act 1989/2004 and Working Together 2026.

Responsabilidades

• Leads Section 47 Child Protection Enquiries across Children’s Services.
• Chairs Strategy Meetings and Child Protection Conferences with multi-agency partners.
• Assesses risks, makes informed decisions and develops protection and safety plans.
