A leading company in social care is searching for a Social Care Assessor. In this role, you will work within a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, supporting adults at risk by assessing needs and managing risks. Social Care Assessor, Enfield
The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is a critical frontline service comprising Social Work practitioners, Social Care Assessors, Occupational Therapists, Police, Health services, London Fire Brigade, and London Ambulance Service, among others. This team shares information to improve decision-making when concerns arise about an adult at risk.
Key responsibilities include demonstrating a person-centred approach, understanding the Care Act (2014) and the London Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with good IT skills. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with diverse agencies and teams across the Borough.
You will need to use assessment, judgment, and decision-making skills to support adults at risk in managing risks and identifying support needs. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, current legislation, and government initiatives is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards exploring innovative working methods is encouraged.
The salary is £23.53 per hour.
