Vitalis is recruiting an experienced Social Care Assessor to work in a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub team in Enfield.
The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is a frontline service comprising Social Work practitioners, Social Care Assessors, Occupational Therapists, Police, Health, London Fire Brigade, and London Ambulance Service, sharing information to improve decision-making regarding adults at risk. The role requires a person-centred approach, good understanding of the Care Act (2014), and knowledge of London Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Procedures.
Applicants should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work with diverse agencies, and possess good IT skills. A commitment to teamwork and providing quality, empowering services is essential. The role involves assessment, judgment, and decision-making to support adults at risk, manage risks, and identify support needs. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, current legislation, and government initiatives is beneficial, along with a proactive attitude towards innovative working methods.
