Job description

We’re looking for a creative and culture-savvy Social & Brand Activation Lead to lead social content creation, community management, and brand activation across our UK and Ireland omnichannel platforms. You’ll serve as the voice of the brand on social media—leading ideation, writing thumb-stopping copy, building community, and running campaigns that connect with culture and drive brand love. You’ll play a key role in shaping and executing our brand marketing calendar, ensuring social and brand activity ladders up to broader marketing and business goals.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role—working with agency partners and internal teams to deliver breakthrough, always-on social and brand activation that stays true to Pizza Hut’s tone of voice and fuels cultural relevance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver the organic social media strategy, content calendar, and execution in partnership with our agency and in alignment with marketing and business goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Monitor conversations and trends to activate Pizza Hut’s voice in culturally relevant ways—both reactively and proactively.
  • Manage social listening and community engagement, partnering with the Customer Care team to ensure timely, on-brand responses.
  • Build strong creator and influencer partnerships, from outreach to execution, to amplify campaigns and initiatives.
  • Run social-first brand campaigns and activations that fuel organic reach and earned media.
  • Track, measure, and report on performance—sharing insights and recommendations to optimize content and strategy.
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, youth culture, digital behaviors, and social innovation.
  • Support PR activity (e.g., press releases and reactive comms) in partnership with our PR agency.
  • Champion brand consistency and Pizza Hut’s tone of voice across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Paid Media, Brand, Operations, and the wider marketing team to drive aligned activation plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and a passion for storytelling through content.
  • Sharp awareness of youth and internet culture, trends, memes, and moments that matter.
  • Exceptional writing skills and confidence in developing a distinct brand voice.
  • Comfort with social tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics).
  • Strong project management and presentation skills—you can bring people with you.
  • Resilience, agility, and a collaborative mindset in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years' experience in social media, brand marketing, or digital content creation—preferably with consumer-facing brands. Experience in QSR, FMCG, or entertainment is a bonus—not a must.
  • Proven experience managing social accounts and influencer programs at scale.
  • Experience working with and managing agencies or creators.

Work Environment:This role is based at our Restaurant Support Centre in Central London, a minimum of 2 days per week in the RSC is required. As Pizza Hut is a franchise business, you may be required to attend franchisee offices, and other locations from time to time. There will be events throughout the year that will take place in London including (but not limited to) RSC days, Functional team meetings / 121s and supporting with market visits.
