As the Social Art Director, you are someone who is never short of creative ideas and the drive to bring them to life, with a strong understanding of how to create social-first content. You’ll ensure every brief is executed to maximize commercial impact and align with our brand standards, reflecting our brand’s creative vision. Reporting to the Senior Social Art Director and collaborating with the social team, you’ll have a background in social-first art direction and content creation, preferably within fashion, beauty, or home sectors. You will deliver innovative content across multiple categories including Womenswear, Menswear, Beauty, Home, and Tech, adapting seasonal campaigns as needed.
You will create content that is imaginative, thoughtful, and brand-building, maintaining the brand’s visual tone of voice and social content best practices. A solid understanding of social platform nuances will underpin your creative work. You should be confident from concepting through to self-shooting, editing, and creating social graphics. Awareness of cultural moments, impeccable taste, and curiosity are essential. You should also understand key social metrics, using reporting and insights to inform future projects.
This is a 12-month secondment/fixed-term contract based at our London Head Office in Pimlico, with a hybrid working model. The role involves visiting John Lewis branches as needed, with travel expenses claimable. The salary ranges from £42,700 to £55,000 depending on experience.
