About the role

As the Social Art Director, you are someone with a wealth of creative ideas and the drive to bring them to life, with a strong understanding of social-first content creation. You will ensure every brief is executed to maximize commercial impact and align with our brand standards, seamlessly reflecting our creative vision. Reporting to the Senior Social Art Director and working closely with the social team, you should have a background in social-first art direction and content creation, with specific experience in fashion, beauty, or home sectors.

You will work at a fast pace with the social marketing team to deliver innovative content across categories including Womenswear, Menswear, Beauty, Home, and Tech, as well as adapting seasonal brand campaigns. Your goal is to create content that is imaginative, thoughtful, and brand-building, while staying true to the brand's visual tone of voice and best practices for social content. A solid understanding of social platform nuances is essential, underpinning all your creative output.

The Social Art Director is a versatile creative who is confident from concepting through to self-shooting, editing, and generating social-first graphics. You are culturally aware, possess impeccable taste, and are naturally curious. You should also understand key social metrics, using reporting and insights to inform future work.

Key responsibilities
  1. Storyboard, shoot, and edit daily content and campaigns that resonate with our online community, drive social engagement, and align with brand tone of voice.
  2. Deliver social content from concept through to post-production, overseeing each step at a fast pace and ensuring brand appropriateness.
  3. Learn from previous projects by reviewing key metrics and adapting creative strategies to generate further engagement.
  4. Collaborate with social marketers and the broader content and creative teams.
  5. Stay updated on global cultural and social trends, as well as industry nuances, to foster innovative ideas and concepts.
  6. Work cross-functionally with the wider creative team to adapt campaigns for social media.
  7. Maintain high quality across all platforms, ensuring consistency with brand tone of voice.
  8. Research and present social media trends, including potential collaborators and technologies for content delivery.
Essential skills/experience
  • Proven experience in art direction for social media.
  • Experience in social-first content creation, including dynamic editing styles and graphic design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest.
  • Knowledge of camera operations, lighting, and post-production including editing, grading, graphics, and sound.
  • A portfolio demonstrating social-first work, ideally within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle industries.
Desirable skills/experience
  • Cinema 4D, Adobe Audition, Illustrator, Lightroom.
