Job summary

Capgemini UK is recruiting a Security Analyst for our on-site SOC in Corsham. You will manage SIEM content, run threat detection, and ensure accurate SOC analytics and reporting to stakeholders. This role requires close cooperation with other information security teams and may involve security audits and vulnerability assessments.

The position includes pre-employment checks and a focus on wellbeing and learning opportunities through Capgemini's programs.

Qualifications

• Security analyst with SOC or security monitoring experience.
• Knowledge of data networks.
• Experience with SIEM and security management tools.
• Desirable security qualifications (CompTIA S, CySA, CISSP).

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective operation of SIEM content: filters, rules, expressions and other identification mechanisms of the threat and vulnerability management technologies used within the SOC.
• Responsible for execution and maintenance of SOC related analytical processes and reviewing reports to ensure quality and accuracy is a part of the job.
• Work closely with other Information Security teams to ensure effective intrusion detection and incident response.
• Detailed technical security reporting to appropriate stakeholders and Management operating companies, alongside security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
• Implementation and Troubleshooting of Security tools and performing both internal and external security audits.
