Job summary

Home Bargains in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Security Operations Centre Manager to lead our 24-hour SOC and Incident Support team, ensuring proactive protection across Retail and Logistics operations.

You will develop a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, identify risks, coordinate with stakeholders, and implement technologies to prevent crime while safeguarding colleagues and assets.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within Loss Prevention, Profit Protection, Security Operations or similar function.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Experience identifying and implementing strategies to reduce risk and manage security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the 24-hour Security Operations Centre for Retail and Logistics.
• Build and develop a high-performing team focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
• Record incidents and actions accurately, including facial recognition, with proper documentation.
• Develop strategies to reduce security risks and protect assets and colleagues.
• Oversee incident management and escalation to minimise business disruption.
• Lead root-cause analyses for high-risk incidents and implement long-term solutions.
• Act as senior decision maker in absence of Profit Protection leadership.
• Drive projects end-to-end from planning to implementation with clear objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for coordinated incident response.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure SOC meets customer needs.
