Job summary

A growing consultancy is seeking a SOC Engineer/Consultant to enhance clients' security operations. The role requires strong SOC experience, knowledge of security frameworks, and the ability to work as a consultant. Candidates must have active SC clearance and be able to commute to London twice a week.

Enhancing Cyber Defences for OT & Critical Infrastructure #ParadigmShift

SOC Engineer | SOC Consultant | Cyber Security Consultant | Security Engineer | Security Manager | SC Clearance | Security Clearance

SOC Engineer / Consultant is required for a growing consultancy on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will be working with clients to progress in their Security Operations journey so a good understanding of this industry is required.

You must be able to commute to London twice a week and have active SC clearance. This is also quite urgent so could only consider people with a notice period of maximum 1 month.

The experience you'll need for this role is:

• Strong experience in SOC
• Good experience of Security frameworks such as ISO27k1, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK etc.
• Good SOC knowledge of both the hands-off and hands-on skills required
• Good knowledge around Cloud technologies and DevOps methodologies
• Willing to work as a Consultant dealing with stakeholders

The salary on offer for this role is around the c.£60,000 mark as a rough guide but if you're looking for a bit either side of this then that's also fine. On top of this is a 10-15% bonus and solid benefits package.
