Sopra Steria Limited is seeking a Managing Security Architect to take full ownership of our end-to-end SOC architecture in a Greenfield security operations capability. Hybrid role with travel along the M3/M4 corridor.

You will define high- and low-level security designs, testing requirements, and standards for detection content. You will act as the technical authority for client security designs and roadmaps, and drive SOC maturity initiatives for CREST accreditation, exploring automation and AI

Qualifications

• Experience leading SOC architecture strategy.
• Ability to produce high- and low-level security designs and testing requirements.
• Eligible for SC and DV clearance.

This is a rare Greenfield opportunity to shape the future of our Security Operations capability.
With large teams of SOC Analysts supporting high-profile, mission-critical accounts, we're looking for a Managing Security Architect to take full ownership of our end-to-end SOC architecture.
In this role, you'll lead the SOC architecture strategy, ensuring that designs, integrations, and operating models align with regulatory, assurance, and security requirements. You'll be responsible for producing both high-level and low-level security control designs, defining testing requirements, and ensuring robust, compliant security solutions are delivered across the estate.
This is a hybrid role, with some travel to sites on M3/M4 corridor.
Please note: you must be eligible for SC and DV clearance.

What youll be doing:

• Owning the SOC architecture, ensuring designs, integrations and operating models meet regulatory and assurance requirements.
• Producing both high- and low-level security control designs, including defining testing requirements.
• Setting and governing standards for detection content, including rules, use cases and correlation logic.
• Acting as the technical authority for client security designs and technology roadmaps.
• Leading SOC maturity initiatives in support of CREST accreditation.
• Identifying and introducing technologies that enhance analyst effectiveness, including automation and AI

It would be great if you had:

• Existing SC or DV clearance.
