Job description

Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to monitor and ensure the safety and security of our retail environment. The role involves surveillance, incident response, and collaboration with various teams to prevent and investigate security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and analyze suspicious or criminal activity through CCTV.
2. Support store security teams in the arrest and detection of offenders.
3. Respond to intruder detection system alarms, fire and life safety systems, and Building Management Systems alarms.
4. Prepare police witness statements and gather evidence for Crime & Investigations teams.
5. Collaborate with Store Loss Prevention Teams to investigate internal and external crimes and stock loss.
6. Handle incident escalation calls appropriately.
7. Maintain the safety and well-being of all team members, suppliers, visitors, and customers via CCTV monitoring.
8. Ensure all SOC standards and measurements are met.
9. Engage with retail teams and stakeholders to promote security training, awareness, and continuous improvement.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and legislation.
2. Conduct daily CCTV, fire systems, intruder alarms, and building services monitoring.
3. Report incidents and escalate as necessary.
4. Work closely with Loss Prevention and Security Management teams.
5. Analyze security-related incidents when required.
