Job summary

SiXworks is seeking a SOC Analyst to monitor secure digital solutions in highly secure environments. You will work with engineers and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.

The role emphasizes taking ownership, solving complex problems, and contributing to continuous security improvements. You will lead shifts in 24/7 SOC service delivery, provide oversight to junior analysts, and respond to incidents using structured playbooks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Security, SOC or related field with focus on Vulnerability Management and Incident Response.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts and IAM.
• Familiarity with information classification and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 SOC service delivery shifts.
• Oversee and mentor junior analysts.
• Monitor security alerts and unauthorised activity.
• Respond to incidents using playbooks and coordinate with Tier 2 teams.
• Review and improve security controls in a growing environment.
• Triage vulnerability reports and feed findings to technical teams.
• Review secure configurations for remediation guidance.
• Generate security and service reports for stakeholders.
• Propose improvements to SOC processes.
