Job summary

Head Resourcing Ltd seeks an experienced SOC Analyst Consultant to support a busy cyber security team in a large enterprise environment. This 3-month initial contract is based in Harlow with hybrid work (1 day onsite).

Key duties include monitoring, triaging and investigating security incidents using IBM QRadar SIEM and Microsoft Defender, with knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF and incident response lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of SOC experience.
• Hands-on experience with IBM QRadar SIEM.
• Experience monitoring, triaging and investigating security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and triage incidents.
• Investigate incidents and determine root cause.
• Respond to security events following incident response lifecycle.

We're looking for an experienced SOC Analyst Consultant to support a busy cyber security team within a large enterprise environment.

Key Requirements:

• 2-3+ years' SOC experience
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM QRadar SIEM
• Experience monitoring, triaging, and investigating security incidents
• Knowledge of incident response lifecycle and root cause analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Defender (essential)
• KQL knowledge desirable
• Ability to work independently and manage complex cyber investigations
