Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Manager to join our UK Regional team, contributing at both hands-on and strategic levels for an assigned group of business clients. The role involves implementing corporate policies, processes, and procedures, while supporting the strategic agenda developed by HR Business Partners (HRBPs). You will lead projects and contribute to global initiatives, fully supporting the business you are aligned with.

About The Role:
  1. Partner with Business Leaders and HRBPs to implement local people strategies, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, and talent development, engaging with Centres of Excellence as needed.
  2. Provide HR support to first-line managers and employees, including guidance on policies, processes, and cyclical HR activities.
  3. Manage employee relations cases of moderate complexity.
  4. Coach, mentor, and challenge leaders and managers to foster a culture of effectiveness, alignment with Thomson Reuters' vision and values, and fair management practices.
  5. Partner on organisation design and redesign to enhance business performance, including executing agreed actions.
  6. Contribute to M&A due diligence and integration processes.
  7. Forecast, plan, and monitor workforce strategies to ensure the right skills are in place at the right time.
  8. Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives across all HR functions to build a high-performance, inclusive culture.
  9. Analyze data and trends to identify people and culture needs, collaborating with stakeholders to develop relevant talent solutions.
  10. Serve as a role model for the UKI People team, providing coaching and support.
About You:
  • Experience managing HR initiatives across all HR levers in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong business acumen with a pragmatic approach to human capital solutions.
  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent multitasking skills, ability to work under pressure, and proactive initiative.
  • Good presentation skills, both internally and externally.
  • Solid knowledge of local employment law.
  • Capacity to challenge the status quo and adapt to change.
  • Relevant degree in Business, HR, or related field; CIPD qualification preferred in the UK.
