Job summary

VBeyond Corporation is seeking a data-focused software engineer with Snowflake, SQL and DBT skills, plus FASTAPI/Python expertise, to deliver scalable solutions.

The role involves DevOps, automated deployments, and close collaboration with senior stakeholders. You’ll optimize performance on large datasets and ensure well-structured, tested software that can be handed to first-line support.

Qualifications

• Strong Snowflake, SQL database and DBT development skills.
• FASTAPI / Python skills mandatory.
• Experience in DevOps, automated deployments, and source control tools (Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy and Git).
• Performance tuning processes dealing with very large data sets.
• Good all-round technical knowledge to help find the best solution to a requirement.
• Able to deliver well-structured and tested software.
• Working with senior stakeholders and users.
• Logical, structured thought processes and good problem-solving.
• Relationship management and business engagement.
• Ability to create solutions which can be handed over to first level support in the first instance.

The knowledge, experience, and qualifications you need:

• Strong Snowflake, SQL database and DBT development skills .FASTAPI /Python skills mandatory.


• Experience in DevOps, automated deployments, and source control tools (ideally Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy and GIT)


• Performance tuning processes dealing with very large data sets


• Good all-round technical knowledge to help find the best solution to a requirement


• Able to deliver well-structured and tested software

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help:

• Experience of Financial Services, ideally Wealth and data knowledge


• Salesforce or digital integration (like backbase , temenos or other tools)..


• Working knowledge with Agile delivery methodologies


• Able to engage with stakeholders in both Business and Technology


• Multi-disciplined and able to provide support throughout SDLC


• Knowledge of test automation techniques, such as TDD


• Capable of balancing timely delivery against strategic development


• Pro-active and delivery-focused
