Job summary

PRIMUS Global Solutions (PRIMUS UK & Europe) seeks a data/backend specialist to develop Snowflake-based pipelines with DBT and to build backend APIs using FASTAPI and Python. You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust software solutions and help deliver scalable data platforms.

You will participate in DevOps-driven deployments, maintain best practices for testing and code quality, and collaborate across teams to ensure smooth handovers to first-level support while

Job description

Strong Snowflake, SQL database and DBT development skills .FASTAPI /Python skills mandatory.

• Experience in DevOps, automated deployments, and source control tools (ideally Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy and GIT)
• Performance tuning processes dealing with very large data sets
• Good all-round technical knowledge to help find the best solution to a requirement
• Able to deliver well-structured and tested software
• Working with senior stakeholders and users
• Logical, structured thought processes and good problem-solving
• Relationship management and business engagement
• Ability to create solutions which can be handed over to first level support in the first instance
