Job summary

White-Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Smoke Ventilation Design Engineer for an East London location. The role focuses on the design, estimation and technical development of mechanical and natural smoke ventilation across residential and mixed-use developments.

You will work with fire engineers and project teams to develop compliant smoke control solutions, prepare costings and support projects through Gateway 2 and delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing smoke ventilation or smoke control systems.
• Experience with smoke shafts, corridor ventilation and stair pressurisation systems.
• Ability to interpret fire strategies, CFD modelling outputs and architectural drawings.
• Experience preparing estimates, quotations and tender submissions.
• Strong understanding of relevant smoke control standards and regulations.
• Experience using AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Strong technical communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Salary: GBP46000 - GBP65000 per annum

A specialist contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Smoke Ventilation Design Engineer. The role focuses on the design, estimation and technical development of mechanical and natural smoke ventilation systems across residential and mixed-use developments.

Working closely with fire engineers, consultants and project teams, you will be responsible for developing compliant smoke control solutions, preparing project costings and supporting projects through design, Gateway 2 compliance and delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing smoke ventilation or smoke control systems


• Experience with smoke shafts, corridor ventilation and stair pressurisation systems
