V7 Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Project Engineer to join a growing specialist within the life-safety smoke ventilation sector. Based in London & Home Counties, you will join project management teams on installation and commissioning work across the Southeast and occasionally UK-wide.

The role suits someone with strong engineering and electronics knowledge and experience in Smoke Ventilation, M&E, Duct fitting or HVAC, with excellent planning and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering and electronics knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Smoke Ventilation, Controls, M&E, Duct fitting or HVAC industries.
• Excellent planning, record-keeping and communication skills.
• Ability to work from schematics, site plans and project drawings.
• Ability to provide technical support to clients and colleagues.
• Well organised, proactive and commercially aware.
• Full clean driving licence (minor points considered).
• CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management teams, clients and site engineers to ensure safe and compliant delivery.
• Support installation and commissioning on various projects across the Southeast and UK-wide when required.
