Job summary

Referment is recruiting a corporate solicitor to join its Dudley office. The role involves advising SME and owner-managed clients across a broad mix of corporate work, including M&A, shareholder agreements, and general company law.

You will join an established team, handling transactions and corporate matters for a diverse client base with a practical, business-facing approach. PQE around five years is a guide, but applications from other qualified fee earners are welcome.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with corporate experience and practical M&A knowledge.
• Experience advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses is a plus.
• Willingness to handle varied corporate work beyond a narrow focus.

Responsibilities

• Advise SME and owner-managed clients on M&A transactions and corporate governance.
• Prepare and negotiate shareholder agreements and ancillary documents.
• Provide guidance on general company law and corporate structuring.
