Job summary

SSE Airtricity is seeking an SME Commercial Sales Specialist in Belfast to drive tailored electricity and gas solutions for brokers, TPIs and direct business customers. You will develop and grow the customer portfolio, negotiating profitable contracts and collaborating with internal teams to craft compelling propositions.

The role requires strong sales, analytical and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced energy market.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial electricity & gas sales, account management or business development.

SME Commercial Sales Specialist – Electricity & Gas

Base Location: Belfast – you’ll typically spend around 50% of your working week in our Belfast office

Salary: £36,200 – £54,400 + commission + a wide range of benefits to support your health, finances and family life

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

About The Role

Our Bespoke Commercial Sales team works with SME customers across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, providing tailored electricity and gas contracts that meet their unique business needs.

As an SME Commercial Sales Specialist, you'll play a key role in developing and growing our customer portfolio, working closely with energy brokers, TPIs and direct customers. You'll be part of a high-performing, supportive team where collaboration, customer focus and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships, negotiating successful outcomes and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What You’ll Do
