Job summary

Kentec Electronics Ltd, part of the Hochiki family, is recruiting an SMD Machine Operator to run and support our Surface Mount Line in Dartford. The role involves operating SMT printers, pick-and-place machines, ovens and AOI equipment, with training provided where needed.

You will ensure quality, efficiency and a safe working environment while meeting tight deadlines. We welcome candidates with at least one year in SMT manufacturing, experience on Europlacer equipment, good reading of diagrams,

Qualifications

• At least one year of SMT manufacturing experience.
• Experience with SMT equipment is required.
• Able to work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
• Capable of reading diagrams and following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate both automated and manual SMT manufacturing.
• Set-up, operate and adjust SMT printers, pick-and-place machines, ovens, and AOI equipment.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to meet company standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment and follow safety regulations.
• Assist in housekeeping and adherence to workplace policies.

We are looking to recruit a Surface Mount Machine Operator to join our department and assist in running our Surface Mount Line.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing.
• Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT Printers, Pick and Place Machines, Ovens, AOI equipment.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to meet company standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Maintain all housekeeping/safety regulations including the handling of hazardous materials.

Skills, Experience and Person Specification

• At Least one year experience. Role training will be provided were needed.
• Experience on SMT, Europlacer pick and place equipment.
• Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and read diagrams.
• Decision- making skills.
• Computer literate.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirable.

Job Specifics

• Working hours: Monday-Thursday: 06.00 - 14.30 - Friday: 06.00 - 13.30.
