Job summary

MOTORCLEAN LTD is seeking a SMART REPAIR TECHNICIAN for a busy car dealership in Oldbury. The role is self-employed, with hours Mon-Fri 08:00-18:00 and weekend overtime.

You will repair vehicles to high standards, including dent repairs, painting prep, colour matching and blending, while maintaining safety and tidy work practices. The role requires a valid UK driving licence, right to work in the UK, and proven experience as a vehicle body paint sprayer in an automotive bodyshop.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Body Paint Sprayer in automotive bodyshop.

Responsibilities

• Carry out SMART repairs to customer specifications.
• Repair vehicle dents to high standard using appropriate techniques.
• Prepare vehicle panels for painting: sanding, filling, masking, priming.
• Perform colour matching and blending for seamless repairs.
• Maintain clean, tidy workspace and health and safety procedures.
• Log work in company In House system.

SMART REPAIR TECHNICIAN REQUIRED AT BUSY CAR DEALERSHIP IN OLDBURY. Motorclean provide services to Car dealerships, Auctioneers and Rental companies across the UK. The purpose of this role is to repair vehicles to the highest quality to ensure they are ready for resale by our Customer.

• Self Employed Role Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-18:00, with weekend overtime available Pay: Earn up to £1,000 per week, paid per unit completed. The Role: Carry out SMART Repairs to Customers specifications Carry out vehicle dent repairs to a high standard using appropriate repair techniques. Work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques. Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, masking and priming. Ability to perform high-quality dent repairs and filler repairs. Perform colour matching and blending to ensure seamless paint repairs. Maintaining a clean and tidy working area at all times. Maintaining good
  housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work. Follow Health and Safety procedures at all times. Log all work completed onto the company In House system Requirements: Full Driving Licence Must have the Right to work in UK Must have Valid Personal UK Bank Account in your own name Proven experience as a Vehicle Body Paint Sprayer within an automotive bodyshop. Strong skills in vehicle dent repair and body preparation. Excellent paint spraying, colour matching, and finishing skills.
