Job summary

Motorclean Ltd, a busy car dealership in Newport, is seeking a SMART Repair Technician to repair vehicles to the highest quality for resale. The role is self-employed and involves Thursday to Monday 08:00-17:00 shifts, with earnings up to £1,000 per week paid per unit completed.

You will carry out SMART repairs and dent repairs, prepare panels for painting, color-match and blend finishes, maintain a clean workspace, and log work in the in-house system while adhering to health and safety

Qualifications

• Full driving licence.
• Right to work in UK.
• Valid Personal UK Bank Account in your name.
• Proven experience as Vehicle Body Paint Sprayer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out SMART Repairs to customers' specifications.
• Carry out vehicle dent repairs to a high standard using appropriate repair techniques.
• Work to the highest standard and demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
• Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, masking and priming.
• Ability to perform high-quality dent repairs and filler repairs.
• Perform colour matching and blending to ensure seamless paint repairs.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working area at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures at all times.
• Log all work completed onto the company In House system

SMART REPAIR TECHNICIAN REQUIRED AT BUSY CAR DEALERSHIP IN NEWPORT .

Motorclean provide services to Car dealerships, Auctioneers and Rental companies across the UK. The purpose of this role is to repair vehicles to the highest quality to ensure they are ready for resale by our Customer.

Self Employed Role

Hours:Thursday - Monday 08:00 - 17:00

Pay: Earn up to £1,000 per week, paid per unit completed.

The Role:

• Carry out SMART Repairs to Customers specifications
• Carry out vehicle dent repairs to a high standard using appropriate repair techniques.
• Work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
• Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, masking and priming.
• Ability to perform high-quality dent repairs and filler repairs.
• Perform colour matching and blending to ensure seamless paint repairs.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area at all times.

Requirements:

• Full Driving Licence
• Must have the Right to work in UK
• Must have Valid Personal UK Bank Account in your own name
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Body Paint Sprayer within an automotive bodyshop.
• Strong skills in vehicle dent repair and body preparation.
• Excellent paint spraying, colour matching, and finishing skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
• A practical skills assessment will be required.
• Workwear and full PPE

This role may involve working outdoors in all weathers, you may be required to work within a team or on your own initiative.
