Job summary

Swansway Group in Blackburn is seeking a SMART Repair Technician to join our busy workshop team. You’ll carry out all aspects of paint spraying and minor body repairs on a wide range of vehicles in our new, state-of-the-art facilities.

You will work with the latest equipment, prepare spray equipment and vehicle bodywork, maintain and clean tools, and manage paints and supplies. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in paint spraying and minor body repairs on vehicles.
• Knowledge of maintaining and cleaning spray equipment.
• Able to prepare paint and manage inventory of paints and equipment.
• Experience in SMART Repair within the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a SMART Repair Technician to join our busy workshop team at Blackburn as a SMART Technician / Paint Sprayer you’ll be tasked with carrying out all aspects of paint spraying to a wide range vehicles in our new, state of the art workshops. Working with all the latest equipment, you will also be responsible for minor body repair work for vehicles

• Carry out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles, as well as minor body repair work
• Prepare paint spraying equipment and bodywork of the car
• Maintain and clean equipment, as well as storing the paints in the correct, safe conditions

Founded in 2003 by Michael Smyth and his three sons, David, Peter and John, Swansway has grown from five motor dealerships in Cheshire and the West Midlands to the 20 dealerships we have today.
