We are seeking a SMART Repair Technician and Polisher to join our busy auto body shop based in Bedford.

The job in a nutshell

• Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour
• Day Shift: 8am - 5pm
• Monday to Friday
• Location: Bedford

Job Duties

• Perform smart repairs on vehicles including paintwork, alloy wheels, and interior trims.
• Polish vehicles to ensure a high-quality finish (Fresh Paint Polish).
• Identify and rectify any imperfections on the vehicle's surface.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment to achieve desired results.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in smart repair and polishing within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of different paint types and application techniques.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.

Education

• Relevant vocational qualifications in automotive repair or similar field.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in smart repair and polishing.

Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of vehicle surfaces and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in paint correction and detailing.
• Experience with using specialist polishing equipment.
