We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team. You’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, providing efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity, and water meters.
Our meter readers install, maintain, and manage meters to ensure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.
As an engineer, you'll respond to emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf of EON, ensuring customers’ Smart Meters are working correctly. Do you enjoy working independently, chatting with customers, and meeting new people?
Customer service is our top priority. You'll ensure all jobs are completed on time and explain the benefits and safe usage of their new smart meter to customers. Do you like meeting new people and helping make a difference in their lives?
In your day, you'll be completing the installation and removal of smart meters (SMETS2) in customers’ homes, typically doing around 5 jobs per day. Interested in earning extra money? There’s an uncapped bonus for additional jobs completed.
You will travel around your area using your tablet to see your schedule, which you can access up to 2 weeks in advance.
