Zusammenfassung

NewOrbit Space Ltd. is seeking an AIT Systems Integration Engineer to own the functional and system test programme for our spacecraft, from unit-level to flight-ready verification. You will bridge systems engineering with subsystem teams, turning requirements into test procedures and leading campaigns.

You will work hands-on with hardware, GSE and test infrastructure, ensuring traceable evidence for each requirement before launch and supporting campaign activities through to delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electronic, Electrical or Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 3+ years in spacecraft AIT, systems integration or test engineering.
• Hands-on experience with functional and system-level testing of satellites or space subsystems.
• Familiarity with SmallSat development approaches: agile, rapid iteration, protoflight models, and pragmatic use of COTS components.
• Working knowledge of satellite subsystems: EPS, OBC/C&DH, ADCS, comms, propulsion, thermal, structures and payloads.
• Experience using GSE, including EGSE, checkout systems and RF test equipment.
• Experience with requirements verification and maintaining a verification matrix through close-out.
• Clear technical writing for procedures, test reports and NCRs.

Aufgaben

• Own the functional and system test programme for the spacecraft, from unit-level acceptance to end-to-end testing.
• Write, review and run test specifications and procedures, including functional testing, FDIR and mission simulations.
• Lead test readiness reviews and sign off test reports.
• Run tests during environmental campaigns (vibration, thermal vacuum, EMC) and diagnose issues.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and TM/TC databases used for testing.
• Own the verification matrix for the satellite campaign and report close-out status.
