Job summary

Miller’s Vanguard is seeking a driver to join the Installations Team. You will be responsible for the collection and delivery of food service equipment to retail customers across the UK, while maintaining excellent client relations and professional representation of the company.

The role requires flexibility for short-notice travel and occasional overnight stays, with comprehensive induction and training provided to develop your skills and support career growth within the business.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible to travel across the UK.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours as required.
• Class 2 HGV licence would be advantageous for certain runs.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver food service equipment to retail customers.
• Liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction while representing the company.
• Follow company policies and practices.
• Carry out ad hoc duties as required by your manager.
• Liaise with Installation & reactive Engineers to support 2-man installs when needed.
• Perform small works installations, deliveries and collections.

Job description

As Miller’s Vanguard continues to grow and succeed, we have an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our established Installations Team and support our extensive national customer base.

Driving one of our fleet vehicles, you will play a key role in delivering equipment and supporting installations for some of the UK’s leading supermarket chains, fast food brands, and coffee retailers. This varied position combines express delivery duties with small works installations and second-person support on larger projects.

Due to the nature of our express service, the role requires flexibility, with short-notice travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays for longer-distance assignments.
