SER Limited is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer for small works, installation and commissioning across Swindon and the M4 corridor. You will handle projects from initial installation to handover, working with Gent, Advanced, Kentec, C-TEC and Key systems in care homes, data centres, education and more.
The role is a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, with paid overtime after 40 hours, and a company vehicle provided. Training and clear progression opportunities are offered.
Location: Swindon / Wiltshire / M4 Corridor
Salary: £35,000 – £48,000 DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (40 hours per week)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Small Works / Commissioning Engineer to join a well-established fire safety business operating across commercial and public-sector environments.
The successful engineer will be responsible for delivering small works, installation, modifications, upgrades and commissioning of fire alarm systems across a varied client base. This is a hands‑on role suited to an engineer who enjoys project‑based work and taking responsibility for works from initial installation through to completion and handover.
Projects will include environments such as care homes, data centres, education, healthcare, hospitality, retail and social housing.
