Lloyd’s Register seeks a Boats New Construction Manager to lead certification of new build small vessels under 24m in Bristol and across UK locations. You will provide expert technical advice to clients, coordinate with builders, and ensure compliance with regulatory coding requirements for commercial, ROUV, and naval craft.

The role involves regular client engagement, coordination with LR’s technical teams, and occasional travel to shipyards and waterfront sites to support project delivery.

Formación

• Requires degree in engineering or equivalent
• Professional institute membership preferred (I. Eng or equivalent)
• Strong communication and governance knowledge for codes of practice

Responsabilidades

• Plan and manage certification activity for new build vessels during construction and delivery
• Provide specialist support on code of practice surveys, repairs and alterations
• Create and manage proposals and contracts on behalf of LR
• Support LR service delivery team within the Naval sector
• Travel to waterfronts and yards as required
