Job summary

Kingsway Vet Group's Skipton Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team on a permanent basis. You’ll handle consultations, surgery, hospital and inpatient duties, and provide emergency out-of-hours care as part of a broad first-opinion role.

We actively support CPD and specialist interests, enabling the team to grow clinically while delivering excellent patient and client care in Skipton, Yorkshire. DOE up to £65,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS.
• Qualified veterinary degree with clinical practice experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive learner with an interest in CPD and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations and perform surgery as part of a varied caseload.
• Cover hospital and inpatient shifts with emergency/out-of-hours care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and knowledge sharing.
