Kingsway Vet Group in Skipton is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy hospital. The role covers consultations, surgery, hospital duties, and out-of-hours care within a supportive team of specialists.

The position offers a 40-hour week pattern with on-call rotas and the chance to tailor days to interests, in a well-equipped hospital with a commitment to CPD and professional growth.

Qualifications

• A veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.

Responsibilities

• Consultations, surgery, hospital and inpatient shifts, and emergency and out-of-hours care.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver high standards of patient and client care across a varied caseload.
• Support ongoing development and contribute to the clinical culture of the practice.
