Job summary

Beckenham Vets for Pets is seeking an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team in Beckenham. The brand-new surgery within a Pets at Home store provides high clinical standards and a supportive environment for professional development.

You will be a well-rounded vet with 3+ years' experience, confident with consultations (20 minutes) and proficient in spays, castrations, emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary experience required.
• Confident with consultations (20-minute slots).
• Proficient in surgery (spays, castrations).
• Experience in emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations with clients.
• Perform routine surgeries such as spays and castrations; assist emergencies.
• Collaborate with RVNs, VCAs and the practice administrator to maintain high standards.
