Job summary

Athona Ltd is recruiting an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join a growing CYP neurodevelopment service in Sheffield. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to support neurodevelopmental and autism assessment pathways, providing high-quality clinical input to children, young people and families.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with flexible hours (full-time or part-time) and a competitive salary up to £56,000 FTE, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist.
• Experience working with children and young people.
• Experience in neurodevelopmental services; ADOS-2 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people.
• Contribute to autism assessment pathways within a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide specialist Speech & Language Therapy input and recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with psychology, occupational therapy and psychiatry professionals.
• Support children, young people and families throughout their assessment journey.
• Contribute to high-quality, evidence-based clinical decision-making.
• Maintain effective communication with families and wider professionals.
