Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Children and Young People’s Service across Fife on a fixed-term basis. You will support universal and targeted interventions, working with children, young people and families, in blended clinic/home settings.

Based in East or West Fife, you will contribute to ongoing development, quality improvement and collaborative practice within a forward-thinking team led by an experienced lead clinician.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Speech and Language Therapy
• Eligible for UK practice and registration
• Willing to work across Community/Children and Young People services

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to children and young people across universal and targeted levels
• Assess, diagnose and treat communication and feeding/swallowing needs
• Collaborate with families, carers and other agencies to enable self-management
