Salary: £31,324, commensurate with skills and experience (Shift Allowance & OT).

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and standard operating practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring all equipment, plant, and accessories being used/operated are within test/examination dates and in a safe, usable condition.
• Ensuring all work is undertaken in accordance with relevant site rules, regulations (including LOLER and PUWER), standards, and company policies.
• Completing all administrative tasks related to the role, such as assisting in creating risk assessments, pre-use check sheets, standard/complex lift plans, etc.

Your skills and experiences:

• An understanding of LOLER, PUWER, BS7121.
• Experience of general lifting operations using various lifting equipment within a maritime and facilities environment, including fleeting operations with chain blocks of various capacities.
• Must hold a current FLT license.
• Must hold a current Overhead Gantry Crane license.
• Desirable to hold a current MEWP license.
• Desirable to hold a current Confined Space license.

The Load Test Team:

As part of the Load Test team, you will carry out all aspects of slinging for load testing setup, including overhead gantry crane duties as requested. This may involve using information technology systems to assist in preparing lifting operations. The role offers variety and opportunities for progression within the company.

The standard workweek is 37 hours, but overtime, weekend work, and worldwide travel may be required.
