Based at Headington, the role involves autonomous specialist assessments and management within a multidisciplinary team.

The post supports sleep and ventilation services, including NIV and airway clearance, with opportunities to supervise junior staff and contribute to service

Qualifications

• Specialist assessment of patients with highly complex presentations.
• Autonomous practitioner delivering interventions.
• Proven clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
• Develop and monitor comprehensive care plans.
• Supervise and teach junior staff and students.
• Progress patients with regular reassessments.
• Assess cardio-respiratory conditions using advanced knowledge.
• Sleep and Ventilation expertise including NIV and airway clearance.

Responsabilités

• Perform specialist assessments of patients, including highly complex cases, and formulate treatment plans.
• Work across multiple settings (outpatient, inpatient, domiciliary outreach).
• Assist in supervision, teaching and appraisal of staff and students.
• Support operational management and development of the service, deputising as required.
• Contribute to evidence-based projects and implement changes.
• Ensure compliance with standards of practice and safety procedures.
