Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist (Band 6) for a 12-month fixed-term, full-time post based at Churchill Hospital in Headington, Oxford. The role supports sleep and ventilation services with a multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, high-quality care.

Candidates should have HCPC registration, a physiotherapy degree, and considerable NHS respiratory experience.

Competenze

• Degree in Physiotherapy, HCPC registered.
• Minimum 5 years NHS experience in a physiotherapy role.
• Specialist respiratory physiotherapy experience preferred.
• Post-graduate training or qualifications in respiratory care.
• Membership with ACPRC is desirable.

Mansioni

• Undertake specialist assessment of patients as an autonomous practitioner.
• Work across outpatient, inpatient and domiciliary settings.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and students.
• Support service development and lead on quality improvements.
• Engage in evidence-based projects and implement changes.

Formazione

Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc Hons)

HCPC Registration

Minimum 5 years NHS experience

Post-graduate / Further learning in relevant field

Minimum 2 years experience in respiratory medicine specialty

Membership with ACPRC
