Job summary

Winston Way in Ipswich is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker for a sleep-in only role. You will provide dedicated support in the evenings and during the sleep-in period, assisting with daily living tasks and personal care where required.

This position offers £14.00 per hour plus a £45.00 sleep-in payment, with both part-time and full-time opportunities and weekend/bank holiday shifts. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and patient with individuals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work night sleep-ins and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow individual support plans and risk assessments.
• Support individuals with evening routines and daily living tasks.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Administer medication in line with training and policies.
• Promote a calm, safe overnight environment.
• Respond appropriately to any overnight support needs or emergencies.
• Encourage independence, choice, and skill development.
• Maintain accurate records and report incidents or concerns.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and attend handovers and meetings.
• Promote safeguarding and wellbeing at all times.
