Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust’s Sleep Centre is seeking a Diagnostic Unit Administrator to provide comprehensive, patient-focused administrative support for respiratory physiology diagnostics. You will coordinate home and inpatient sleep studies, ensuring appointments, tests and reports are managed promptly and in line with Trust DM01 standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and book home and inpatient sleep studies within Trust DM01 standards.
• Manage referrals, appointments and diagnostic information in hospital systems and issue appointment details and materials.
• Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from patients, carers, GPs, wards and clinical teams.
• Provide appointment reminders, basic procedural information and sensitive support to patients.
• Ensure tests are accepted, booked and reported in line with departmental procedures.
• Maintain accurate office and information systems; monitor receipt of reports and correspondence, issue non-attendance letters, order supplies, support audits.
