Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a proactive Electrical Service Technician to join our team in Skye. You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of ENERCON wind turbines, ensuring safety, reliability and performance.

You will diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, carry out maintenance and retrofits, and document activities accurately. Travel nationwide and abroad is expected, with on-call duties and strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 NVQ/SVQ in electrical or engineering.
• Time served apprenticeship completed.
• Full, clean Category B driving licence.
• Valid Safe Pass Card.
• Physically fit and able to pass Working at Heights medical.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and abroad.
• Good IT skills.
• Team player and good communicator.
• Proactive in safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, inspection, and repair of ENERCON wind turbines.
• Diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out electrical maintenance, retrofits, and component replacement.
• Assist with mechanical maintenance and repair tasks as required.
• Climb wind turbines and maintain training and certification.
• Complete and maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
