Job summary

ENERCON Services UK is seeking an Electrical Technician to install components, carry out maintenance, diagnose faults and generate reports on ENERCON wind turbines. You will travel to sites across the region as part of a two- or three-person team and climb turbines on a daily basis.

The role requires a proactive, safety-conscious team player who can meet deadlines, complete maintenance schedules, and produce weekly and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 NVQ/SVQ in Electrical or Engineering.
• Time served apprentice.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Experience in wind sector preferred.
• Proficient using IT packages, including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Install components and maintain WECs to ensure proper operation.
• Climb wind turbines regularly and ensure training/certificates are in date.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports for supervisors and management.
• Travel to UK sites to service WECs and assist other teams as needed.
• Fault finding and reporting on electrical equipment.
• Carry out HV switching and other duties as required by the Company.
